About this pack

The Cybertruck was the first Tesla designed around 4680 cells. According to figures from Tesla's Impact Report, reported by InsideEVs, the pack holds 1,344 cells for 123 kWh. That works out to about 91.5 Wh per cell.

The pack runs at 800 V. Its four modules can be switched to work with 400 V chargers. A Munro teardown found considerable empty space above the cells, which suggests the enclosure was designed for taller cells.

Charging, advantages and tradeoffs

Peak DC charging

Unknown

No verified charging curve for this pack is in the database yet. Curves vary with temperature, state of charge and software, so we only publish curves backed by repeatable measurements.

Advantages

  • 800 V architecture with the ability to reconfigure modules for 400 V charging. [2]

Tradeoffs

  • Teardowns found unused space inside the enclosure, which suggests the pack was sized for taller cells than shipped. [2]

Identification

How to tell if your car has it

  • All Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast trucks documented here use this pack. The 2025 Long Range RWD has not been documented yet.
  • The part number on the high-voltage battery label and Tesla service records are definitive. A VIN alone does not encode the cell supplier or pack code.
